Last week Harper Construction broke ground on a new science building at Los Angeles Southwest College. The design-build project will be delivered to the Los Angeles Community College District. It consists of approximately 27,000 square feet of classrooms and laboratories. The new facilities will support the Geology, Microbiology, Physics, and General Science departments at the school.

The design-build project is the third phase completed by Harper Construction on the Marine Corps Base, with Phase 5 & 6 receiving beneficial occupancy in September of 2016. Serving as the Chair of the AGC Political Action Committee for 2017, Jeff Harper spearheaded the effort in raising $250,000 this year for the AGC PAC.
