The Physical Conditioning Recruit Barracks (P-293) and Recruit Training Barracks (P-294) were 3-story, open bay barracks designed to accommodate 1,800 new US Marine Recruits.  Each building was configured into open sleeping bays with a central core consisting of restrooms, showers, command offices, and mechanical spaces. The Sports Medicine and Reconditioning Therapy Clinic contains an Exercise, Cardio, Weights and Strength Training area, a Therapy Pool and whirlpool, Treatment Rooms, Training Rooms, Offices, Lockers, Showers and Restrooms. The Mechanical System included a high efficient Turbo-cor Air Cooled Chiller was provided for the P-316 Conditioning Facility. A roof-mounted, grid-connected Solar Photovoltaic Power System (SPVPS) was installed on the roof, utilizing high efficiency panels. We also provided a Solar Water Heating System for the Therapy Pools.
