Building 360, known as “Hangar Six” is the first Naval Air Station Lemoore hangar purpose-built from the ground up for the F-35C Lightning II. It includes 110,000 sf of shop, maintenance, command spaces, and hangar bay space for 10 aircraft. The project also includes over 900,000 sf of airfield paving and parking spots for 28 aircraft. The project utilized an accelerated fast track schedule to meet aggressive operation mission need dates for two squadrons.
