This design-build project focuses on new facilities for Automotive and New Technical instruction, including an alternative fuel vehicle lab and bench lab, an advanced diagnostics and emissions vehicle lab and bench lab, a hybrid technology/electric vehicles lab and bench lab, a dyno-cell room, central tool storage, classrooms, restrooms, electrical, mechanical and IT rooms, faculty offices and faculty work area. The facilities will be single story, with exterior covered areas, surface parking for approximately one hundred vehicles, driveways, walkways, and landscaping.
