The 2,000-student Rock Academy is housed in 35,000 square feet of classroom space, with 21 separate classrooms for grades K-12.  The classrooms are designed for flexibility as The Rock University will use the classroom space during the evening and weekends for adult education and training.  The school, has data connections everywhere and is wireless throughout the building.  The school also has two college level chemistry labs, complete with fume hoods, natural gas, and eye wash stations.  Across the hall from the labs are three fully equipped Art Rooms.  A 6,000 square foot “Rockpile” Resource Center is used to supply students, faculties and members with books, study materials, music and clothing.  Connected to this bookstore is the Cafeteria, with over 500 seats overlooking Rock Creek Park.
